Community Vision Project

Supporting our young people and local communities to learn about our fragile environment and climate issues is not enough.  We want to give a voice to their fears, concerns and ideas of better. Young people in particular are in a unique position to be epically creative and suggest solutions.

Playing for a better world

We want to enable people to build and curate their visions for our future in a playful way. We use Lego Serious Play as a start point, and combine it with art and crafting to help visualise and share these to others.

Sharing visions for our future in a playful way through Lego Serious Play. Using this methodology dissolves the barriers to creative thinking and offers everyone of any age a space to visually create their ideal future on our planet. There is space for discussion, collaboration, imagination and so much fun.

Our aim is to harvest these great ideas and sow them into reality.

Reducing carbon emissions

  • Soundscapes of the future - birds not cars...

  • Jobs after carbon is solved

  • More walking and cycling in communities

  • Fulfillment focus not consumer-happiness.

  • Micro clean energy networks all over the place

  • Locally produced food and goods

  • Climate-appropriate planting and proactive nature adaptation

  • Circular economy of stuff; reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Connecting people with the New Forest National Park

  • Supporting cultural and natural heritage projects that foster identity and a sense of place.

  • Developing ideas led by and/or engaging typically under-represented groups.

  • Enabling audiences from different communities, ages, backgrounds, experiences, and identities, to experience the National Park.

Funding

We are working with local funding organisations both philanthropic grant-making bodies, local arts funding, council and National Park funding groups to build this project.
