Nina seems to have really flourished since coming to Amberwood. She is getting the opportunity to try out things she’s never done before. She’s making friends and really enjoying herself. It’s lovely to hear her laughter coming out of the woodland when walking along the path to collect her.

I enjoy Amberwood because of all the creating, learning, discovering and imagination. I love navigating through the trees, gorse and brambles. 5 hours of learning in one place called....... Amberwood.

When I am at Amberwood I feel that I can do anything from building to cooking, carving, creating and playing. I enjoy the Natural History lessons. This is a cool place to go!

My daughter Lillia (12) has been attending Amberwood Forest School for the past two years and I can honestly say it’s her most favourite home Ed group by far.Even though it’s quite a journey for us from Bournemouth it is worth the petrol money definitely! The 6 hour day is fun packed for the children as well as educational.By attending Amberwood, Lillia has found her own little tribe, learning relationship, emotional regulation and communication skills-all essential in a child’s development. I regularly get complimentary feedback from the forest school staff team about her conduct and progress in activities.Lillia is currently completing the John Muir Award at Amberwood which she is greatly enjoying and learning from.I would very much recommend Amberwood as a fantastic value for money day school. I only wished we’d joined earlier.

Amberwood has been amazing for my three children! It’s an open, laid back and welcoming community for families. The kids have made lots of friends and also learnt so much, through a mix of play and activities, offered by the knowledgable leaders. It’s also really reasonably priced for a full day of fun. So glad I found this little gem :)

Jake loves going to Amberwood. He's been there since it first started 3 years ago, and he's made a really great group of close knit friends. Having the opportunity for him to go and hang out with other kids independently on a regular basis has been really good for his confidence. Throughout the day they do a mix of free play, forest school activities and a short structured session on different interesting and unusual topics. Jake's unschooled, so I wasn't sure how he'd feel about the structured sessions but the leaders are great at listening to the kids and respecting their autonomy, whilst also encouraging them to join in. Overall, forest school has been a hugely positive addition to our home education and if highly recommend Amberwood to anyone.

Amber Wood home Ed group have been such a blessing for my 2 boys ..offering them a variety of creative activities inside and out...there is freedom to choose and for them to grow and learn in the way and pace they need. The staff hold safe but flexible boundaries allowing the children to explore and learn together . They are totally dedicated to providing a creative learning invironment and encourage parents to swap skills and take a part in the groups over all growth . Thank you amber Wood for all that you bring !

My son has attended Amberwood on Wednesdays since the beginning. It has evolved and grown into a wonderful space for exploration and social fun in a natural, outdoor setting, often walking in the New Forest woods nearby. The semi structured approach works well, giving focus where needed but also freedom and independence. Thanks to Maria, Rachel and all for your hard work and commitment.

Amberwood is fun, a great social. It makes me feel happy. My favourite part is playing with my friends. I really enjoyed the team building activity recently, that was really fun. Neo (10)
